Do you think it fair to think a person is as predictable as the company he keeps?

Does the "Birds of a feather flock together",saying apply to people in your opinion?

For the most part, yes. It doesn't mean superficial differences, like religion, ethnicity, etc., but we tend to hang around people who share our basic values. So in that sense, it's true.

I don't see it as such. Maybe in grade school and high school but not as adults. I have all different sorts of friends and each has their own beliefs, likes, dislikes. My very best friend from childhood is just about my exact opposite but we have managed a friendship for about 27 years. I think we compliment one another. Don't judge one by the mass darlin' as you might just be missing out on some pretty great ppl.

Yes and no. I have multicultural, multireligious, multi everything friends, and I always have. Our common threads are that we respect, like and enjoy each others' company.
