I don't usually answer these kinds of questions. If you believe the Bible or not there is great wisdom to be found there.

There is no debating that it is contains great wisdom. If you aren't intelligent enough to know there is wisdom to be found in any text, you truly are an utter fool. =) I love how people criticize Holy books of any kind when they cant even read or understand language at all. Pathetic, really
There is infinite wisdom in The Bible.
Dr. Seuss's "Green Eggs and Ham contains wisdom as well but because you can read the alphabet doesnt mean you understand anything ! People who believe in nothing will never get it because they really dont care about anything more than themselves. =)

Nope, not debatable. There is wisdom there whether you are a believer or not.

Pretty sure wisdom can be found in the Bible... what is debatable is whether YOU will be able to find it. I have a ton of manuals around my apartment that I have never read. But alas at some point you get here "If all else fails, read the instructions".

If its not for you, its not for you. Now.

Not at all, there is a wealth of good advice (and some seriously dumb advice) in the bible. All holy books have examples of good behaviour, advice on living well and how to behave in a civilised manner towards your fellow man. What I object to is the idea that all that advice, good and bad, came out of the mouth of a god.

    Yes, anything is debatable.

When there's hundreds of contradictions, many different anonymous authors contributing over hundreds of years to a book, there's bound to be questions that arise.

for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight; for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to those who are simple,[a] knowledge and discretion to the young— let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance— for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. Nothing wrong with that
