*nods vigorously* Definitely. Fear was my constant companion for way too long, and I've only recently told it to pack up its bags and go home; life is much the better for it. (Though it does keep banging plaintively on the door, so I still have to sometimes stick my fingers in my ears, or just turn the music up.)

No. Without fear, there would be little meaning to life--we would be able to do anything, go anywhere, without ever feeling danger or adrenaline. Without cowardice, there could be no bravery.
