He wanted them to kill him. "All part of God's plan" so they are 100% innocent, you cant go against His plans.

Jesus wouldn't have. That's one reason I always wonder how true Christians can ever support the death penalty.

but I mean someone had to kill Jesus... it was his destiny... some of his last words were along the lines of "forgive them Father"<br />
He even knew he would be betrayed and who would do it... it was his purpose to be put to death.
