I mean, to sustain the domination of the military within Pakistan. It's said now, for example, that the most powerful man in Pakistan is the top general rather than the president.

I think India has all the Muslims it can handle in Kashmir and the rest of the country. I think India knows if it were to grab part or all of Pakistan it would be biting off more than it can chew.

    pakistan was part of india until some super power or other decided differently

    im sure india wouldnt mind having her back in the fold

    India resents the 1948 partition. but I don't think they are unrealistic enough to think they can handle more Muslims, with all the trouble they have with Kashmir.

    What the hell are you talking about? I would love to answer your question, but I can barely keep up with the confusing grammar.
    About Kashmir, I think you have to be fair and look at the land's history. If it was to be divided between India and Pakistan on terms of the religion of the population, than almost all of it should have gone to pakistan. But that didn't happen as we all know.

    I"the confusing grammar" You only get so many characters on a question. I don't approve of what India did with Kashmir in 1948. But that's life. I don't think Pakistan should spend the next 100 years in a quixotic and violent effort to take Kashmir from India when it's never going to happen. The wrong of 1948 does not justify outrages like the Mumbai massacre.
