don't take my word for any of this. in a lot of the fiction i read, churches would even refuse to bury a suicide in the cemetery, because that was holy ground, and the sin of suicide is so serious...according to google, it's one of the "mortal" sins, and that's usually pretty serious, but i can't properly explain what that means...
it probably depends on the church, since they're all so differentLike (3)

i dont think people who commit suicide get treated differently when they die than anyone else who dies. the people who are left behind will suffer.

Sure why not.....If people don't wish to be here you can't make them stay...
What makes me more upset about this painful subject is that there isn't a way for those who don't want to live, to give their life to someone who is dying that desperately wants to stay here.....( like donating your organs so that someone else can live ) This would be a wonderful thing ..Good luck with your school project.Like (2)

I don't know if I believe in heaven and hell, but if they are really I think people who commit suicide would get into heaven. If there is a god, I would think and hope that he is more forgiving and understanding then some people seem to think.

I think people with mental problems are forgiven this and most all that do it are mentally deficient.

Biblically speaking....I dont believe so. The reason I say this, is that by chosing the time and method and circumstances of your death you are taking over the role of God. Yes......our days are numbered and God knows before youre born how things will end, but when we take our on lives I believe we have dethroned God for our own selfish and ignorant reasons and according to our circumstances instead of Gods. I hope this makes sense and helps you

According to the theology of most major churches - no. Suicide is a sin without forgiveness.
That is of course assuming there is a heaven.Like (2)

That's up to God. However, committing suicide is murder and the bible says murders won't go to heaven. But again, I'm not the judge.

Well people that commit suicide probably have to relive their life all over again as if they never lived it and also be punished for taking a live even though it was their own life.

Yes. It depends on what is in a person's heart at the point of death. Some people become so overwhelmed with whatever that they feel they cannot go on. Christ understands this and he gives atonement.

No it does not. But gosple suggestes it. You accept that Christ is your redemption, you believe in him. You have faith, and faith is the key word. You are saved.Like (1)

Yes, because there is no hell. It is a waste of a life though.
