I hate wars ..
liked taking the fight to their turf..and attracting and killing so many al queada...what cost the money is rebuilding that place..which was a waste of a trillion dollars..
No. It was a knee-jerk response!
Nope ... 9/11 was an excuse to go after Hussein after that guy made threats on his daddy
No...Sadam Hussein knew how to keep people in line. The invasion by Bush was made with no end game in mind. His father could have took Sadam out during desert storm but decided not to do it because GHW knew the importance of balancing power in the Middle East. Something Obama and the last Bush are/were very ignorant about.
It was a step towards denying support for militant Islam. Saddam need some removin, so we removed him, and there were indeed weapons of mass destruction. We went about it the wrong way again though. We need to utterly decimate the enemy not pull our punches and expect them to suddenly love us for not obliterating them. Politicians should stay out of wars. Soldiers should be given free reign and there should be utter annihilation of the enemy with no quarter. We should have gone in, removed Saddam, take out all cells and training camps and wipe out as many insurgents as possible in a three year period. Gain intel about other target rich environments and moved on to obliterate them also. We should have smoked the places that the insurgents were coming from and we should have smoked the people financing and arming the insurgents. Politicians fought a stupid wasteful war, and Iraq is paying dearly for it.....Again......
Possibly but since Obama took credit for the victory he claimed in 2011, he owns it now.
Nobody should be attacking no one, point blank.
No. But, the whole stupid situation was set up by the Treaty of Versailles, negotiated by President Wilson, a liberal Democrat.
I honestly forgot the reason for the war, what was it for?
Then, my answer is no.
