Of course. I have seen many successful examples. Of people that are from other countries. I'm not so sure about people that are physically in other countries and have never met.

Sure!
It depends upon the people, not the countries.

From another country but currently residing in the same country or living in different countries?

If the former, no reason it wouldn't work. If the later, it will take a lot of hard work but, I suppose, if you're both dedicated, secure and really care about each other it might...

Obviously; marrying someone from a different State is exactly the same. I guess what you are implying is from a different culture; well of course it works but I doubt if it is known what the failure rate is.

PS It seems that you may be referring to distant relationships. I missed your point.

Well if they can't, then I might as well break up with my girlfriend lol. I think they can work, it's not like we're different species or something, we just come from different cultures and different peoples. If you love someone, nothing should stop you from being with them :)

yes, of course, especially if both people are sensitive to each others' cultural differences among all the other things necessary for a relationship to work.

For the Eastern marriages, please make sure her man's parents are not equal or above her... isn't marriage love the most jealous love of all? forsaking all others?? any 3rd parties[other men/women, money/job, children, parents, culture/country, even church activities... God isn't included bcos you can love God and spouse at the same time, and not even church activities are above marriage] ... specifically for this kind of inter racial/culture marriages...

It does not matter what kind of culture it is, the marriage principle work across all mankind...
Men as the head of marriage, he loves his wife as she obeys him...

No.
It can work if you are able to meet once in a while, and if you have to do business together, which requires meeting in person.

But, if it's over the internet, without meeting? Anything is possible. But, without accountability, or commitment, the both of you could be sneaking around behind each other's backs. If you like that idea, then, sure, it can work.

It's an open relationship. And you don't give a flip what the other person does as long as "you get yours."

I think that you can build a loving relationship with anyone you feel that connection with. However if you live in different countries it would take a lot more work to keep things moving forward. It's hard to keep up the passion and intensity when you rarely or never see each other.

i believe that it has a fair chance of success - but naturally not as much as those living in the same area. btw, i am answering your question thinking that we are talking about long distance relationship ie living in different countries and raised in different cultures.
as long as the couple has the same goal in mind which is to eventually live together and that they are both serious in achieving that goal and love of each other there's a real chance in them.
