I used to make fun of anyone who liked Twilight, until someone challenged me to read the book...
Now I make fun of anyone who likes Twilight and isn't a teenage girl who read the book. Bella is a cheap, but effective amalgam of teenage girl qualities designed to make teenage girls identify with the clumsy, self conscious, and self deprecating but smart girl who's always on the outside looking in. Bella in the book is so transparent she isn't even a full character. Bella in the movie lacks all her inner dialogue and so is just.... annoying.
I've never seen True Blood. I heard some good things about it, but I'd rather watch something with vampires in it.Like (1)

Yes. Sookie Stackhouse seems to have more depth to her chracter, it is intreasting to see how she has grown. Bella's character doesn't seem to have much going on with her but i guess that is how her chracter was written.
