Being a big girl myself I've been told I shouldn't have a type because I'm not the right weight and look to be picky. And I should take what ever I get because I'm never going to get what I want. (I've actually been told this). I'm not putting my life on hold to find that ideal person but damn I can have a dream too.

my daughter's a big girl too(21).............& has had nothin but skinny to average sized good lookin guys.......it's all in the confidence dear ;-)

How could you NOT have a type? As Blogger422 says, it is natural to have preferences. That is like saying that you have no right to like or dislike certain colours or foods or cars. You have a right to like what you like. Pshaw. Tell the naysayers to mind their own lives and let you mind yours.

Everyone has a type--it's natural based on your own personal experiences in life. You can't stop someone from having a type. Whoever told you that is wrong. Big girls, unattractive girls, older women, short girls, black girls--they all have a type. Don't listen to anyone who tells you differently.

I really do hope whoever told you that is no longer a friend. That's not a nice thing to say to someone at all. big girls (or guys) can have whoever they choose and settling with anyone is not going to make you a happy person, at all. being with someone for the sake of it is not going to make you happy more like send you into depression. There is an element of attractiveness you feel towards the other person, even if the thing you find attractive about them is there personality

I was out in the hood and two girls came one thick one thin some guy was hating saying to the thicker girl nobody wants to talk to your fat self but I would cause I am thin thin in thin don't mix there are alot of pretty thicker women I like so it seems like most thicker girls pick mean guys though

I don't know what fascist SOB decided that being thin was a prerequisite for being beautiful but he or she was way wrong. I get to decide for myself who I find attractive, more often than not she is NOT skinny.

whoever told you that was being cruel and is absolutely WRONG. you have every right to be interested in who you like. however, in saying that i have found that liking bishonen boys has never done anything great for me as most of them are gay, lol. good luck with finding love, you deserve to be loved no matter what you look like.

Your life is what you make of it. The most precious and poersonal things are what you desire. And that includes most things non material ( career, friends, activities, music, etc). In order to be satisfied you have to know what you want, work on getting it and then finally getting it. There are no rules on who should be with who. Centuires ago their were riles and conventions, but, they have been rendered useless. What is my credo is good people need good people in their lives. Its all about character and how people work on their love for eachother. You need a person that you desire........
