Do you think that in the future...(read details please).

This question will probably cause controversy but i really do want to know. Do you think that in the far or near future, a device will be invented to make us understand animals' language?(and that would be by converting animals' sound waves into humans' sound waves) somehow? because i literally was about to do this as my school's science fair. I asked my dad but he said that's impossible because that was a trait of Abraham to speak to them and fully understand their language and no other human can do it.

Is This A Good Question? (4)

If you pay attention you can understand the Animals.
I got Kicked by a Horse once because I wasn't paying attention. My Fault.
    Should have seen it coming.
Why it is very Hard are to get
Dogs and Horses to be Buddies.
They look at life from completely different point of Views.
    They all have their POV.
Understand that and you are half way there.

But animals don't have abstract thoughts through language like humans do. I guess we will know their emotions like jealousy, etc.

Not a language but behavior and thinking we will understand. Animals can't and will never be able to speak fluent English. By finding out their reasoning for doing what they do we can "communicate" with them.

I'm not saying they will speak English what so ever, i'm saying that we could understand THEIR language(whatever that is).

Technically we already understand most of their language genetically and chemically.

My dog does try to talk to me. So, yes I would love that and it would help with the needs of the animal.

    I think 2+2=4 and 2
    +2
    ______
    4

and 2x2=4 That might all calculate into something, but reality is simple math in this example. Perhaps a new system of calculating math, but understanding animals further than how they can be taught, hmmm is about as far as I can ponder it.
