What if the country has gotten better by then. Unemployment at 6%. Stock Market steady. Deficit cut by 30%. No wars going on during that time. Maybe. Its better than nothing. =)

Unemployment as the Labor Dept measures it, ba<x>sed on number of ppl registered as job seekers with unemployment compensation boards? Possible, tho most "structural unemployment" comes from different corners.<br />

Stock market steady? In whose dreams? Should not be within Federal Reserve's power to make that happen, much less politicals.<br />

Deficit cut by 30%. You know, there was a time in the 1990's when that looked doable, but it was too big a temptation for the American Millenium crew. Just need to stop adding to the deficit, is all.<br />
