Text speak is not the cause of poor communication skills, it is just the result. You can't blame the car in a car wreck, when the person driving was a Kennedy.

I mainly meant the complete avoidance of personal confrontation. Texters never learn to think on their feet.

Yes, to see a bunch of teens sitting together at a table, all of them texting, none of them talking to each other makes me think they are headed towards being socially stunted.
