    oh god. something which i talk about quite frequently lol
    for one, women, whether we like it or not, take a lot more upkeep hygienically . for example, their periods and much more. being out in the field, its a lot more feasible for guys to not take shower than it is for females because theyre a lot more prone to infections. also smells a lot more too. second, if a female is shot in a firefight and a guy sees, regardless of how you feel about them, theyre gonna be more likely to run out and grab them while under fire to bring them to cover. where as if its another guy, we're more likely to put the mission first, suppress the enemy and take care of our buddy when we can. and last and in my opion the most important, if I get shot ad i need to be buddy carried, she is definately not going to be able to carry me with my gear, weapon, ammo and whatever else i have on me, as easily as a guy would. of course thats depending on size of course and theres definately a lot of guys in my unit that are mediocre in size to say the least. but id feel safer without having females next to me in a firefight and feel more secure knowing that if something happened, id be taken care of

    I share the same sentiments, but I think that if that's what a woman desires to do, then let her if she meets the same requirements as the males.

    i suppose. theres plenty of guys that ive met and seen over the years and fought with in afghanistan that are by no way, shape or form in top physical condition or able to handle themselves while being shot at. so if women are able to handle themselves then why not. BUT theres no way to tell until theyre put in that situation, in a firefight in a combat zone, having to give buddy aid under fire. and theres no way to put them in that situation without having someone get shot, realistically, so how do we even get them to that point??

    yes because I know women who can shoot better than a lot of guys and keep a cool head in tough situations.. so I cant see why they cant

    Yes women should. I don't see a logical reason why not we're just as strong and smart as a guy.
