Yes, sometimes, people exercise personal vendetta wars with it.
I do not envy the staff here when they sort through flags.

considering my answer was flagged simply because some people wanted the obvious answer to get best answer and mine did, id say yes.

Just try to support the Ep people make it better rather than putting a hit out to them, i have done this more than you'll guess and in the end I realized that these guys are human too, I have Eparsineh in my circle, whenever i come on she is on working on stuff, these guys work day and night to make it better they have ou their lives into it. A little appreciation and support wont matter much. Just an opinion =)

I have friends who've had stuff flagged for no reason, so yes.

I wonder though if the same person keeps flagging unnecessarily if they can get in trouble somehow or scolded?

In most moderation systems there's a penalty for misuse of flagging. Give the length of time that elapsed from when a number of us flagged a post (and a certain member) last week I wouldn't call it excessive although like anything it can be misused.

Yes,I do. I believe some people use it to be petty when they get offended and not when something is TRULY offensive.

I'm going to flag BrotherOfTheLeavZ ....every time I'm on HE'S on (and he types really slow too) Is he ...."who they think he is" Who does HE think' HE' IS???

Why does EP have "invisble people" wandering around here ?? I can understand some need to 'watched' but it's still kinda 'Orwellian' -if you know what I mean.....I'm glad J Edgar Hoover is dead ....but his memory lives on......
