The UN has no teeth or claws. All they can do is say "okay now, stop it, stop it or we'll ask everyone in the club to stop talking, trading and selling to you"

Only if American politicians merely use the UN as an excuse for their own agendas, as with the Controlled Substances Acts.

I certainly hope not. The United States is a SOVEREIGN country. Only we should be able to change our own laws. Think about it, should I be able to tell you what to do and not do?!!! exactly...I don't even know you, and even if I did, we are equals. And I am not saying that the UN is equal to a sovereign country. It is not. It is a loose federation of nations and other people groups.

No, the US is the most powerful country in the world. The UN can only comment - they have no real power over the US.

The U.N. cannot make any changes to the gun laws, however, Hillary has signed onto an agreement banning ownership of certain types of firearms, so the socialist agenda is at work.

No. Nothing the UN does matters to the US or Israel.

The US foots half the bill for the UN and has a military equal to possibly the next six or seven largest in the world combined. You might as well ask if Mickey Mouse would make a good president.

Ha! I'd like to see them try. Maybe they can get Michael Moore to do a documentary on gun violence in schools. That should do it.

Its those light blue hats they wear...makes them look so commandng. If they demanded my arsenal, I might give it all up despite myself.

Personally I think Americans should be required to own guns. People who don't want to own guns should be able to get waivers though.

interesting, I don't have first hand experience because well I'm not american. But I have done research about american gun laws. It seems governments are supposed to be "by the people, for the people" so test that theory out and make a statement to your government about what you think about gun laws... though I dhould tell you, arming some of your citizens might make for a very bad idea

No because the UN has no mandate to change an individual nation's internal laws.
