Do you think time runs at different speeds in different parts of your life?

I am thinking hectic at work - like rapids in a river - and perhaps at home like a pool of time where nothing changes over years
I mean in a good way or at least in a neutral sense.

I will like to share one of my favorite quotes:
"Time is very slow for those who wait
Very fast for those who are scared
very long for those who lament
Very short for those who celebrate
But for those who love time is eternal"

— William Shakespeare

Ys it does when you are alone and unhappy, every minute acts as is a killer. Same goes for boredom.

yes... i think it's all about ur personal awareness. that's why i started to keep a journal... i began to take notice of each hour of the day and fill it with the pursuit of knowledge or prayer or time with my family. it made time move slowly for me... i appreciate each second of my life because i see death all around me and we don't get the seconds back. i haven't perfected this, mind u, but i'm more focused on the important things: me/myhealth/mymind/mypersonalpeace, my family... i am truly blessed.

Someone once told me, time goes quicker when you're working. So I timed it. It didn't. An hour's an hour, busy or not.

That happens to me all the time. I think it's true because our minds speed up when were thinking quickly, vice versa. That makes us think that time is going slower/faster.

Have you ever noticed that in the time of an accident or something tragic happens, time is set in slow motion? During this time your thoughts define who you really are. Think about it!

Time is an illusion, a construct.
In my opinion, the only explanation of why time is so relative....
