It would be a bad thing if my son needed a doctor and I had to get him to a hospital in a horse and buggy.

No, do you realize how long it takes to get anywhere using a horse and buggy? I am surrounded by Amish people and it takes forever just to get to the main road. They regularly have taxis take them places because it takes so long. Also, horses can get spooked quite easily and just slipping off the road can flip a buggy.

The Cities would become awfully filthy! Let's face it no one would want the job of having to keep the streets clean of the waste product and only half, if that, of people actually clean up after their dogs do their business!

It would take me hours to get to my work but besides that, I would have loved to live back in the days a horse was the fastest way to get somewhere.

Horse and Buggy may be a little too extreme. Poor animals creating traffic menace.
But , I say , do away with cars and go biking. One does not need a car to go to a convenient store few blocks away.
