Despite my extremely strong advocacy, it is a personal decision that should not be forced nor treated with too little care. After being acquainted with the facts and separating the fiction, one should make an informed decision. As with any drug, there are risks, though they are minimal. Nicotine and alcohol are both more destructive and addictive. But don't ever delude yourself into thinking it's "magic." It is a mood enhancing substance, meaning if you feel like **** and use it, you're probable only going to feel worse, and you have a much higher chance (no pun intended) of having an adverse reaction. However, in a comfortable, familiar environment with friends/family, you can have a wonderful time.

I've never smoked it but perhaps not. People who smoke it always seem to be happier than those that don't smoke it or drink. How often do you see a happy drunk? ;-)
