RedRover	Posted Aug 23rd, 2009 at 4:11AM Since hydroponics and advanced principles of horticulture didn't yet exist, I don't think the early settlers or natives enjoyed the quality of the herb we enjoy today. They were probably stuck with what would today be best described as Brown Frown. The upside was that they didn't risk jail time for enjoying it... we seem to be moving backward as a society in that regard. Rated: +2Vote for this!

RRK1	Posted Aug 22nd, 2009 at 10:55PM As mentioned previously, the Native Americans grew tobacco which was an indigenous plant to North American. It was believed to be sacred and was used for religious purposes. Sir Walter Raleigh took it back to England and started getting everyone hooked on it and began the tobacco industry that we all know and love today. Rated: +1Vote for this!
