Do you think you have to look for love or does it find you?

Well, you do have to leave the house once in a while and meet people, but it generally doesn't happen if you go looking for it, specifically. It always seems to happen to me when I least expect it -- or want it!

i think that love finds you when you are not expecting it. if you look for love youre looking too hard and you will be blinded to it.

I think "love" as most define it is like "looking" for a unicorn! If a unicorn wants to find you he/she will find you! Don't bother looking because they have a better view of the world than say a non-mythical animal!

I'm with both DaneMom and Edgar...just a bit in the middle. I haven't been looking for quite a while, and now they're crawling out of the woodwork. I'm open to the idea of companionship/friend with benefits, but it's starting to get a little weird.

What kind of love?

I have never looked for love but have found it many times... love for friends, love for family, love for a companion. I think my two favs are the love you find in someone for the first time. You know that first smile and look and then the goosebumps and that curl your toes first kiss.

Then there's the love I found when I realized that I was expecting my first... you don't think you can love anyone as much as you love that little baby growing inside you. And then comes that first kick and WOW! It's a love so great, so strong, so incredible that I would give my life for each of them.

Love... what a BIG feeling out of such a small word huh

Neither, I think it is built slowly sometimes without us even knowing that we are building it.

If you look for love you have the control as who it will be .You can even get guidance as to whom and their worth and worthiness . This types of relationship last a life time .
If you let love find you you can get totally screwed and lose all sight of any and real future . Infatuation is just short term and is easily mistaken for love .It something to enjoy but not to be committed to .This type of relationship last six months ,if your both stubborn it could last seven years . With the most common result is divorce ,hate ,spite ,anger and many other negative adjectives ." better if I add a few more many to the last sentence ".
Love is a long term contract and should be dealt s if were one . With a clear head and adding the pros and cons of the future in the ( presence of both) .

It will find you! I wasn't looking and when it came along, I tried to chase it off. I was so mean and hateful, I didn't want anything to do with this guy. Yuck. He was so persistant, he thought I was all that and now we are married and I shake at the thought that I was going to throw away the best man that's ever been. I'm an idiot
