NO...never apologize unless you really want to apologize. Everyone deserves an apology if there were cruel/unkind things from both sides. You can't just attack each other, and then decide who deserves an apology or not.
Be real, and be human...because that is what you are...human.

I have known to apologize to maintain the status quo... do I like it? No. Do I feel like I am lying? Absolutely, But do I still do it? Yep.

I always remember forgiveness is for the forgiver not the forgiven.

I say what i mean and if some one dislikes it well tough luck
Don`t ask aquestion if you can`t take the answer.
The only time i would appologize would be if i was wrong and had made a mistake.

Ok, my question to you. . . . what did you say or do that required an apology? And why don't you want to give it? If your racist question is an indication of how you function in the world, it might well be that you OUGHT to apologise . . . .

I think you should look at what not apologizing might do. If it's a matter of helping the other person save face, then it can be a politically wise move. That person may remember it and return the favour in future.
