Do you think you'll pay it forward this holiday season? ..do you have plans to cheer up/surprise someone?

I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do but I would love some ideas. I want to show my son that the holidays are not all about presents..

Is This A Good Question? (1)

Easy. Make sure there ARE presents, of course. But one of them should be a Quality Time coupon, something hand-made showing a lot of effort, i recommend an offer to spend a day doing exactly whatever HE wants to do. Or maybe doing something good for someone else together. Even if you give this sort of time a lot, making it into a present should teach the value you're intending.

thats a great idea, we do often spend a day doing whatever he wants to do. But, I am looking to do something good for someone else. I'm thinking maybe visit the children's hospital. but, I fear he might be too young atm for that.

My ex and I once volunteered for a homeless food handout. That shouldn't be too rough for a little boy. Depends on the neighborhood though.
