    Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on which manor we are on. If it's covering my mouth when I cough, then yes. If it's saying 'Bless you' when someone sneezes, no, I don't follow that one.

    Here's why:

    I did a lot of research to find out why we say 'Bless you' when someone sneezes and finally found the real reason.

    In the early 1600's, it was believed that when you sneezed, you were expelling demons from your body, and by giving the blessing of God, it prevented them from re-entering. I know that I nor anyone else around me has demons to expel and that it's just a natural bodily reaction to clear out the nasal passages. Religion doesn't need to be there, and I don't think I'm being rude by omitting this ancient ritual from my life.

    Yes. My Mom worked pretty hard at it and I think she was right. Please, thank you, etc. People notice.
