Resolved Question

Do you use the block feature?

Since Experience Project is supposed to be a home away from home I use it to block people with totally outrageous values (like those who think it is perfectly acceptable to kill babies, those who believe in infidelity and even encourage it, those who deliberately lead down the wrong path, innocent young people who are honestly looking for answers in life....

only things I consider unreasonable. And since you can view the list of people you block I double it as my prayer list.

Some Christians would say this is an 'unchristian approach' because Jesus was friends with sinners. But the truth with no spin is that Jesus was friends with repentenet sinners only, and those who did not repent he warned of the day of wrath (in other words of the future days when you will realize you and only you have chosen to screw up your own life).

The feature only blocks people from accessing you, but you still see their posts so it doesn't really work actually for the purpose I would like to use it for but it's the best I can do.

Anyway I am curioous who uses the block feature? Who knows my thinking may change after reading all your posts.

I haven't used the block feature so far, and like you, think it might be only partially effective if it only blocks personal mail messages. You can of course block a group experience by unsubscribing from it. I'm not sure if it is possible to delete a "friend" from one's circle and thus cut off notifications of their posts.

No. I am open minded and respect the opinions of others whether they agree or disagree with the issue at hand. To block someone would be the same as to deny that individuals right to freedom of speech.
