Is it as good as you thought it would be?

I did,but now I don't. Telstra phone and telstra big pond were two that I had been paying, until they stuffed up and credited it to the wrong one and left the other in arrears. This cost me a penality, even after queries.

The only thing I like when I use the P.C is to log onto EP. I enjoy talking to my fellow Epians.

Other than this, dont like talking to machines, online prompters from Banks or other cyberworld establishments.

I was told I lack trust.

But I think I am just an old fashioned Duchess and I enjoy giving bank tellers a hard time haha.

Don't trust it. There is always someone who has some virus that can steal your information and ruin your life.

Yes, I love it. And no it is 100% completly safe. Just look in the url box and if you see a "lock" then you know its a safe site. But I have it on my blackberry. And I love it.

Absolutely. I've never missed a payment because I forgot to write a check, put a stamp, out of stamps, out of envelopes, or forgot to mail it in time etc.. I cannot imagine how time consuming it would be to pay bills and manage finances if not for internet banking and bill pay.
If you are afraid/paranoid of virus/spyware there are tons of free software out there that you should use to protect yourself. Never click on any emails that ask you to log in to your bank/financial institution. Always enter the url yourself or from a bookmark to avoid phishing scams.

Yes, it makes it a lot easier.
To balance my checkbook I use a spreadsheet in Google Docs. I keep a running tally that way and best of all, I don't make arithmetic errors!

internet banking is the shiznits :) You can pay your bills online and everything too.
Nothing is ever 100% safe and there is always a risk of being "attacked" however you can rely on the firewalls, encryption and authentication technologies.
If you haven't tried it, I assure you that once you have , you will realize that it is heaven sent.

Yes, my bank's been rated top-notch for online security. I'm more worried about getting my cards cloned than being hacked on the Net.
