I always gain a little winter time weight and kind of have fun losing it with my New Years resolution. I try a different routine each year and compare the results and effectiveness. I've actually already started this year, (dec 26) and have lost 5 pounds already. This diet is kind of a tough one when first starting though.

This year it's the every other day diet which is as simple as it sounds. 500 calories one day and eat like normal the next. It's working but those restricted days are really tough.
I've always enjoyed trying different diets. Last year was the Harcomb diet, which was actually really easy, but got old after a few months.
