Do you wear makeup when you go to the gym?

Best Answer
The only make-up I wear to the gym is lip balm. I go to the gym to work out and not pick up guys but surprisingly I do meet a lot of guys there and they are strangely attracted to the no make up me.

I do, only because I hit the gym on my way home after work and I have no room for one more thing in my bag such as my make-up remover/skin regime.

The first thing I do when I get home is jump in the shower!!

Going to the gym and working out, can only make your make-up get mussed! Why put yourself through that!

I personally prefer the exercise bike in the garage for a total leg workout, while sipping on that gin and tonic, so I won't get dehyraded.

Card shuffling for my upper arms and wrists, while still enjoying the company of my friends and having fun.

And for the total waist workout, bending over to get something on the bottom shelf of the frig is just perfect!

Oh and ocassionally, I go all out and walk Peedeedog to the mail box and back for a super quick 15 YARD DASH!!!

WhooHoo for ME!!

No, I usually go in the morning and I would never apply make up before going. I run & I would just end up wiping all that make up off onto my towel if I wore any, anyway.

No - I'm there to work out and get sweaty and then get a shower.... what would be the point? I don't go to the gym to meet men or flirt.

I usually do, but only because i've come from uni or somewhere and have been wearing my make-up through out the day. I don't wash it off just to go the gym. And i don't put it on just to go to the gym. And anyone thinking that women do......... Eww, just quietly i would NEVER be interested in any of the guys at my gym.

I think if I wore makeup to the gym here in town others would wonder what sort of a problem I had......

Well personally no, because I'm a guy, but I see people do some pretty strange things at my gym. I live in a small town right next to an Indian reservation, which is very rich due to their casino, and has built a "wellness center" right on the reservation. I'm fairly sure that most of the people around here have never been to a gym before because they not only wear makeup and jewelry as they "workout" but even tight jeans, large boots, belts, collared shirts, and sometimes hats. Basically imagine a stereotypical cowboy walking on a treadmill. It's so funny! I work there so I get to see these people all the time. Their ignorance is unceasing.

I wear a light mineral powder and that's it. It doesn't run or streak and helps cover up the redness on my cheeks.

yes I do. But only as I have to wear makeup to work and do not bother taking it off before going to the gym. I would not put it on just for the gym tho.

I never leave the house without it, so yes I do. I'm a woman and love being one all the way. No butch girl here! I work out in a womens only gym so I don't really care about looking good for the guys.

Lol Actually yes. But it's an accident. Usually I hit the gym after class and since I wear makeup to class, it just happens. I'm too lazy to wash my face before I go I guess is the real answer.

SAD, but I think its a favor to society that I do. I don't do all my face but, defiantly mascara and lipstick.

Why bother your sweat will only make it run down your face. Wait until after you have showered, dried off & cooled off then apply your fresh makeup and be Picture perfect for the fellow waiting for you.

I guess most of the type of people that go to a gym probably think they need make up. Seems messy though. They should take a shower. I found that worrying about make up during sports takes the passion out of it.
