I am the kid, but I listen to a lot of older music like guns 'n roses, R.E.M., Brian Adams, Ace Of Base... The list goes on. So on behalf of my parents... Yes.

My kids listen to lots of different styles. I almost named my son after Ronnie James Dio.......lol!

They know the Beatles and Green day and Elvis and the specials etc, so yeah, absolutely. Oh and ABBA, lol

I do not have children but if I did have kids, they would listen to "my" music or I would ground them or something...

Yes, my 4 year olds favorite song is every rose has its thorns,by posion... I love that he listens to that, their the classics....:)

Yes my husband seems to have convinced our 8 year old that Jimmy Buffet rocks.....:-/ The older kids listen to so much variety, occationally they hear something I listen to and like it.

my kids and i have a role reversal. i'm into rock, metal, and headbangers. they hate that stuff. they like easy listening and soft rock. aaaahhhh!! where did i go wrong? at least they don't like country. it could be worse.

well, I don't listen to motohead or guns/roses but my kid has no choice but to listen to what I listen to because I put it on when he's around. If you were to ask him what his favorite songs are he would probably tell you the Spongebob theme song, or the music from some MMORPG (Shaiya, I guess is the popular one)

I used to listen to metallica and guns n' roses, but that isn't my mom's music. now she likes britney spears and ***** cat dolls and music I CAN NOT STAND. we are polar opposites.
