Found this on paranormalhaze: Case Combusting Cat Location: Outer London: Stanmore (Greater London) - Anmer Lodge nursing home Type: SHC Date / Time: January 1987 Further Comments: Peppi the cat enjoyed life at the nursing home, before exploding into blue flame with a bang and a flash. If the story is true, then Peppi could be a rare example of Spontaneous Feline Combustion. What caused Peppi to catch fire then, the loud bang, blue flames etc? I know Spontaneous human combustion has been disproved, but what about cats? any explanation??

No. Can't happen.

Then why did the cat catch on fire with a bang?

Best Answer

Maybe someone tossed it a fire cracker. Don't be so gullible.

Best Answer

Unlikely. they would have noticed a firecracker there, and old people don't go messing around with firecrackers, nor do firecrackers burn with a blue flame and make a flash.
