Probably. Yet to meet or hear about one that doesn't. They, in turn, are controlled to some extent by their jealousy.

I won't even begin to list how many times I had to experience this before I finally learned my lesson:

Yes. Save yourself a lot of misery. Run far, far, FAR away!

Yes. I have yet to meet one that doesn't. It is possible for anyone who is that way to change, but they have to want to first.

I am sure that a jealous man somewhere tries control his girlfriend. In fact, I am willing to bet a lot do.

for the most part ya, I was once dating this guy for approx. 2 weeks- and one night around 8 PM I spoke with him on the phone, and everything was fine. A few minutes later he called me again- and I had just gotten picked up by my girlfriend, we were going to grab drinks in Laguna with some friends and my guy FREAKED out when I told him I was going out for a little. He told me if I wanted to be with him then I needed to be dropped off at home. I asked why he was acting crazy and his response was simply because "he doesnt want me to go out without him"- I was very confused, because how are you supposed to date someone without trusting them? He basically got extremely jealous, knowing guys are bound to say something to me. It happeneds when I'm out with him and when I'm out by myself. Do I act on it? No. Do I sit there and flirt with these men who are flirting with me? No. I'm not a b*tch about it though. I just smile and go on my way. Soo after that night, I decided to be single until I met someone who treated me with enough respect to let me go out with my friends and trust me. and I found that guy :)

I have been jealous of a partner with other men, but that has never made me want to, or try to control them... A little jealousy can be healthy in a relationship if its controlled jealousy... If it starts getting out of hand then you need to talk about it...
But it should never mean you try to control your partner...

I think that has something to do with it all right but it's probably not the only thing that motivates thease weirdos best to avoide them all togeather.
