If we are, then I'd even hope she told people. However, it does depend on the situation. Many years ago, I met a psychotic woman and things just didn't work out (obviously) after a few dates, so I stopped seeing her. Months later, I was at a bar with another date and this woman shows up, telling everybody in the bar that she's my fiance'. Was a bit unnerving.
