when i need it no..but when i dont feel like being alone..im sure it would drive me crazy

Sometimes I want nothing more than to see nobody else on my beach no matter where I look... So in spite of being a cold wimp, I spend a good deal of time on the beach in solitude during the winter...
Sometimes I want nothing more than to see somebody else's face, feel somebody else's body heat, hear somebody else's voice that it can no longer be called solitude but lonliness...
And yes, it drives me mad...

Depends on how long. I've gone two weeks without seeing another human being or talking to one on the phone, and I was starting to get antsy by then. Probably would have been crazy in another week or two.

I live in an isolated area on top of a mountain. I enjoy it...alot. I go into the city, invite people up or hang out here when I want company. I love that I can chose to be around people...or not.

ABSOLUTE solitude? what is that? I am confused.
if you took away everything and locked me in a white room with nothing and totally quiet with no change, hell yeah I'd go crazy!!!

It's like a punishment. I grew up with so many siblings around and the solitude and quiet of the house is maddening.
