No. But I have a friend whose husband is Egyptian. His family in Egypt carry plates,etc. around when she and her husband visit because families there eat out of a communal pot. Surprising, eh?
My co-worker makes his own hot sauce and carries it around with him to put on everything. He also gives it away to people. I'm always like, "dude, I don't need that much hot sauce". Then he looks at me like I'm the weirdo.
I know exactly what you're talking about, my grandad carries around fresh cayenne peppers in his front shirt pocket, saddly for the past couple of years I've caught myself doing the same thing.
