Yes! Totally. It creeps me out that everyone knows everything about you on that site. The thing that freaks me out the most is that they pull people from your email address book and try to get you to friend them. I don't want someone I emailed once in 2004 for a school project to be my friend. Just plain freaky.

fukkboii	Posted May 5th, 2009 at 8:11PM definitely... facebook, twitter, and mylife are feasting ground for stalkers. i had several folks i met in another chat community find me and contact me via one of those. myspace also sucks... no intellectual appeal. i don't understand why folks put their real info out there. i've been stalked in real life and i've gotten two restraining orders, i have a diligent crew of ep stalkers, and i'm nobody! folks are crazy. You can protect yourself from revealing information to a few people by making a a group in the friends section, and giving that group limited access to your profile information. PurpleQueen	Posted May 5th, 2009 at 11:07AM I do, which is why I'm on on FB and don't plan to ever be. I don't want anyone to know about me, my looks, my job, my friends or whatever. I know I talk about some of these here too, but it's different. No one here actually knows my name, where I've been to school and who my friends in 'real life' are. FeatherInTheWind	Posted May 5th, 2009 at 12:25PM Yeah, I used my first and middle names instead of my last name, didn't put my address on, only have like one picture up with my hair covering my face, and only have like 7 friends; people I actually want on my list.
