I only know three tips for panic attacks (which I also suffer from):
1. It often feels like my legs are going to fall out from under me, but I remember that it is an emotional state and that my leg muscles are still as strong as they have always been.
2. Feeling my pulse when it feels like my heart has disappeared helps to calm me.
3. Avoiding all sensory stimuli and looking at my watch also calms me since I know that panic attacks don't last more than 10 minutes or so. I can feel like I'm counting down until hell is over.
distractions- do something to distract your mind.
