I only know three tips for panic attacks (which I also suffer from):<br />
1. It often feels like my legs are going to fall out from under me, but I remember that it is an emotional state and that my leg muscles are still as strong as they have always been.<br />
2. Feeling my pulse when it feels like my heart has disappeared helps to calm me.<br />
3. Avoiding all sensory stimuli and looking at my watch also calms me since I know that panic attacks don't last more than 10 minutes or so. I can feel like I'm counting down until hell is over.<br />
distractions- do something to distract your mind.
