The question should have been why ? China is only producing what we think we need. They sell the same things as what America/ UK produces, but its cheaper. How many people who are moaning have a house full of items with made in China on them. If you dont like it dont items from China dont buy them & support Local manufactures. Its only 90% because Americans buy it, if there wasnt the demands it wouldnt happen.
i like it this way cuz its dirt cheap! but please, no used condoms in my flip flops
People who ride harleys take pride in their bikes being made in the USA, I helped a friend fix his 1972 xlch 1000, sporster, We went to the harley shop and bought a new cluch hub assembly, when we got to the house and opend the box in small print it said made in china.
Low prices Oh but the collateral damage....Death of a 1000 cuts
Well, after about four decades of insisting that the manufacturers are greedy, and don't pay their 'fair share', they up and left. China doesn't punish manufacturers. Do the math
Nope, not fair at all, just the natural consequences of punishing domestic business. It leaves.
Yes and why don't we learn the language because where we heading its not good. Have you notice that America has never had a war on their own soil? Seriously, if China came over here marching ohh brother.
nope i cant say that i do
Well no one wants to do the jobs of producing it in the U.S. and companies have to outsource because they don't want to pay the amount it would take to pay U.S. workers. They have to pay us at least $7.25, why do that when they can go to china and pay pennies to use their workers? The only possible way to make an impact would be for every American to not buy anything not made in America.. which will never happen, we're too addicted to convenience. We like to pretend we care so much about American jobs but we're doing nothing to secure them. The companies that outsource to places like China make so much more by selling to the U.S. and using workers they only have to pay pennies to work. It's all about the money.
