Does anyone collect books on one particular person,if so,then who?

I relate to a particular person from (art) history...So i had 3 books about them...Now i have about 10 or 12...Recently i let one go on e-bay which would have been my prize piece,.for $20 including postage..Ideally i would have every book ever written about them,.including fictional..On a budget though...Then there would be videos and dvd's...The condition of the books is not important..Who else does this?

You are right it is hard to do these days. In my early artist years I collected many books on Salvador Dali, I was into surrealism big time. I also like authors. I tried to get every book Robert Heinline wrote, and I'm trying to get more of John Updikes early short story work. Your books sound more valuable than letting them go for $20, as the digital age expands, the significance of your library will increase in value not only to yourself, but possibly to humanity. KEEP COLLECTING.
