I collect license plates! I have several standard and specialty plates from all 50 states, and plan to "wallpaper" the inside of a garage one day.

My girls and I collect magnets from any attraction we see. Monterey, Glacier Park, Yellowstone...... Not really from a state specifically. My mother, however, has a spoon collection from every state and country she has ever had the opportunity to travel thru. Portugal, Montana, Wyoming, Tokyo....... it goes on forever and it's quite a large collection.
