Does anyone else think the bonuses for AGI are right?

Where I work, we get paid a base rate plus a bonus based on what we produce. If we don't produce, no bonus. It seems to me if you work at a company where you drive it to the point of needing a bailout fron Uncle Sam, then your bonus should be absolutely nothing, no matter what your contract says.

I am appalled at this misuse of taxpayer money, so I just finished e-mailing President Obama, Senator Feinstein, and Senator Boxer to suggest that when ANYONE gets taxpayer money for a bailout, the contract that they sign should explicitly say that the monies CANNOT be used for bonuses, rewards, or raises for employees of the bailed out company. If any of you that have answered this question haven't e-mailed your representatives too, you're not part of the solution. Contact the people who can do something about it; your representatives. Let them know how you feel, it's the only way change will occur!

I find AGI's multi-million-dollar executive bonus proposal absolutely shocking. First of all, what is the bonus FOR?? The company is broke! And why for the executives only? Secondly, the bailout money is NOT THEIR MONEY. It came from tax money, to save the company, jobs and investors, and the people did not pay their taxes to give a few incompetent executives luxuries that no-one else can afford. I think this is outrageous, and if it isn't criminal, it should be. I highly respect Mr. Obama's efforts to stop this.

I'll be the dissident. But then, I'm against the bailout anyway.

But NO!!!!!!! I do not think that they should be getting any raises....or bonus until the money is paid back to the American people...And we all know when that will be....Don't we.......

Can we all say...When Hell freezes over
