I had to stop talking to my mother-in-law awhile ago. She kept insisting that life is good and filled with wonderful surprises and life is worth living to see what transpires. But life hasn't produced any spectacular moments, any rewarding moments, any moments of wonder and splendid, any moments worth having. It hasn't produced any nice people, but rude, insensitive, haters and gossips and starers and all things dark. She actually was trying to convince me that things could get better, when all along she knew that was not the case and things were going to keep getting worse and worse. She said, why not try to do this or that; well, the reason why not is simple: it's completely hopeless, I don't stand a chance achieving anything in this world, no one is on my side, everyone just wants to tear me down and get rid of me.
