Does anyone here have a recumbent bike? Would you recommend it to others?

A stationary one, not the low rider version of a bicycle... :)

I have one, it's okay - I rarely use it, doesn't burn many calories. I prefer riding my real bike or jogging.
My favorite piece of exercise equipment is the elliptical. If I were going to recommend buying something that's what it would be, not a recumbent bike.

I've heard that the recumbents are super efficient , but I wouldn't feel as safe either so low down. Also limits the views while traveling , i'd think.

Lol...trying to find something non-impact while I lose weight and the other person in house is over 60 and arthritic so need something gentle for her too
