I'm working on an anonymous project and would like to know if anyone here has created and used a fake Facebook profile, befriended people, flirted, dated online, etc. and essentially like to live out another life online?

    sounds fun but sucks when you fall for a fake person that happen alot to me it sucked...

    not on FB but i used to on MySpace.
    FB is getting its tentacles all over everything, though, so (especially if you already have a facebook account) make sure there are no worlds colliding. set up an email account that you never ever ever use for anything else; same with any IM accounts. oh and don't hurt anybody by pretending to make longterm plans ;)
