Resolved Question

Does anyone know a natural way to tread ADHD?

Adderall is not working out. There is anxiety(I'm anxious enough as it is), chewing motion that I can't control that lasts a couple hours, my figity habits get worse and it does make me quite moody. Oh and blurred vision as well. I need help focusing but it seems like it is just making things worse.

Have you ever considered the possibility that meds are making you sicker? By your question, it seems like you're getting pretty sick of them, eh? That's great. You're actually closer to actually solving the problem now.

First of all, you don't have "adhd". This is a relatively new "bandaid" term that "mental health professionals" use in order to sell you more drugs. The proof? They don't tell you where it comes from, nor do they attack the root cause. They merely give you bandaids to cover up symptoms, just like a heroin addict needs methadone to avoid the unpleasant effects of withdrawal. The problem is, your symptoms are still there, and so the dosage gets upped. Who profits from this: you? Or the pharmaceutical companies? Yes, you've probably guessed right.

The physicist Wilhelm Reich discovered that a great majority of our physical and mental "problems" come from the repression of emotion, which usually begins early in childhood. This repression puts you in a constant state of tension, which is manifested by the chronic tightening by various muscle groups. Now, as for what you *do* have: the chewing symptom emanated from jaw tension that results, in a historical sense, from repressed anger. You clench your teeth to inhibit the release of anger - both the tension and anger have been there for so long, you're probably not even consciously aware of it much of the time. Meanwhile, you have developed problems with concentration and exhibit neurotic anxiety symptoms (a combination falsely diagnosed as "adhd" by the drug dealers) precisely for the same reason: the biophysical energy in your body does not flow freely but is trapped in these muscular tension clusters.

The proper treatment for what you do have (likely, repressed sadism with chronic temporal-mandibular stress) is relieved through an assortment of jaw exercises combined with a specific form of therapy designed to alleviate your symptoms for good - *no* drugs, *no* dependencies, *no* doctors di(king you around. Just a 100% cure and restoration of mental and physical health. Reichian therapy is what will do the trick - permanently - and a full set of diy instructions can easily be found on the web. Good luck, and happy non-drug addiction.

Yes absolutely. When the child is a couple years old and starts to misbehave, discipline them. It always works. Stay consistent and let them know that poor behavior will have consequences and then follow through. They will straighten up very quickly.

Drugs are not the answer.

Yoga, meditation & centered focusing. They also help with manic episodes, anger, and panic attacks. It really helps keep me medication free. Trying different crafts also helps.

I had a friend when i was very young who had ADHD and she cut out all the sugar from her diet, literally all the sugar, and that helped her alot.

It CAN be due to an allergy or other food substance that disagrees with your body - perhaps it is sugar. Try cutting out various substances one at a time for a month, and see if there's a helpful effect.

As a person who had a brother with ADD/ two nephews/one niece and great nephew. and my sons father.
Whats works for them kinda differs. But there are two natural things that help alot. Omega 3 / the kind you find in sardines/herrings and such. or just take the vitamins. In studies they have found that people who suffer from ADD and ADHD have a defiency of this in thier body...like it cant hold it.
As for the older ones in the family they use marijuana. It helps them focus. calms them down...they are not so jittery and can clearly focus on everything. They dont get Stoned like someone who isnt ADD/ADHD. my nephew and my sons dad actually act more normal on it lol.
anyways hope some of this helps =)

There weren't all these drugs to control misbehaving children when I was coming up. The strap was very effective in taking care of that. As for adults who have a problem sitting still I can't say. Seems to me that the meds are making you have reactions that have nothing to do with not being able to act as an adult. I'd cut those meds. If you have a compulsive disorder there is some kind of treatment for that and you really need to have this discussion with a physician.
