Does anyone know an easy way to lose a few pounds? Or is that running and veggie diet stuff the way to go?

I'm just curious. I really want to get fit but I'd prefer a method where I don't need to change my life in a drastic fashion. If there's no better way than to run a few miles a day and cut out the good foods I'll do it. Any ideas? Follow up question: That INSANITY fitness program, is that legit?

Don't ever diet. Eat right and exercise. If you end up a few pounds over some imaginary ideal, it's because your body's made to be that way when it's healthy.

I have been gluten free for about three weeks now.  Before choosing to I struggled for two years with the tire tube around my waistline from being pregnant.   It has been a bit challenging but I found having fresh fruit, cheese on hand and quinoa pasta noodles really helps me.  It really just initiated a general want to be aware of what 'they' put in our food these days... And what I'm putting into my body...  I don't own a scale but I noticed just in a couple days I was less bloated, irritable, and had more energy.  I can now put on my pre-pregnancy jeans and continue to feel more vital everyday!  :)

Generally, instead of following diets you dread, you are much better off to simply eat less of what you enjoy in a regular diet. After losing weight most people go back to a regular diet and put the weight right back on. This is how people get trapped in a lifetime of yo yo dieting. Bad for the heart and the morale.
