Does anyone know how I can find where my friend is buried?
The only person who knows is my x-dad and I don't talk to him and even if I asked him he wouldn't just tell me. I know what state he is buried in I know when he died I just don't know how to find him. Somebody please help me I need to go visit him.

Do you know the city that he died in???? If so I would check out the papers from the time that he died for the obit. They will normally say where the internment will be...If not the name of the mort. for viewing...Then you can check it out with them......

I am not sure that this way will work...But it is a place to start.

if you Google how to find out where someone is buried, there a lot of different links take a look and see if they have what you need.

I hope you know the date he died, year and month at least.
Find out what newspapers are in the state he died. Search those papers online. If it was a small town he died in, you will have a bit of work ahead of you.

Another idea is to find out if there is a genealogy organization in your area. Those people are like detectives when it comes to finding dead people. They will have local resources for you to check.

If your friend died recently, many funeral homes, even small ones, have online listings. Do a Google search on their name.

Call the cemetary where they were buried. If you don't know that call the bureau of public records in your state.
