    I was learning irish gaelic for a while.

    unfortunately, I got rather leiscuil about it (lazy).
    I'm sure I'll pick it up again...

    Did you have chances to practice it ? I grew up speaking both English and Creole (patois). Other than family, away from New Orleans few speak it. So my fluency has lessened considerably.

    no, but I was translating songs by Enya and Clannad...which is sung in irish gaelic.
