Does anyone remember David Lee Roth?

You're probably saying to yourselves"what do you think we are, ole fogies?"....I don't know, but I found him completely sexy ..he wasn't a bit good-looking, but there was something about him...please share your opinions

We had the SEXIEST picture of him hanging on our wall when we were teenie boppers - my sister and I wanted the ice cream man to visit (like every other teenager in the 80's)

van halen just came on tour here recently with diamond dave back at the front. keep an eye out. i think they're still on tour. the show ROCKED by the way.

When VanHalen broke on the scene, '77, they were amazing. Roth was sexy, tall, taught, ripped, built, athletically limber and had awesome hair. They were the coolest band shredding up the radio.

Of course, Dave had a fun little solo career and funny videos before becoming a complete douchenozzle by the 90's. The string of failed reunions were ridiculous and that genre of music was dead anyway by then.

Like I did for KISS and Def Leppard in '96, if I won a pair of tickets, I'd go see them, for nostalgia. Thirty years on.

There's a song dedicated to him called 'Diamond Dave', by The Bird & The Bee. It's a fantastic song, even if you know nothing about him (like I did).
