We use them at work. There are points in the yard you cant get a phone signal and the office can keep in contact with all the machiene operators at once

one girl threw a walkie talkie on stage when she was at a one direction concert and kept the other one so she could talk to one of the guys.. how clever is that lol

they said it in an interview and i think it apparantly must've worked..idk if they talked though, they were probably singing at the time or something

I go on camping trips that have a strict "No cell phones" rule. We take our walkie-talkies instead, and only use those. Phones stay in the car.
(And usually don't work in the woods to the east of Austin)Like (1)

I think walky Talky if it's for a children, parks and recreations and those people who have a need to reach each other when there is no power

Depends if your in the country.. I find my iphone doesn't work when I am down home.
