Does anyone with social phobia feel uncomfortable with using people's names?

Maybe even unable to talk to some people at all when you need to call out to them? Perhaps tend to call people "hun" or "sweetie", etc. instead of using their name?

Interesting... I just realized that I barely call my husband by his first name. I always say Hun... Or honey... I don't think it is because of my social phobia though...

It's interesting that we don't call those closest to us by their names. I guess names can be rather formal (which I'm sure is why we often shorten the names of friends and family members, or add a "y" at the end)
